As parents of a childhood cancer survivor and liver transplant recipient, Ruben and Liz founded CTC Superhero with one simple purpose:  to bring healing through joy.  It is their wish to honor the children who are currently battling or have battled cancer (or any illness, disease, or medical hardship) and the family, friends, and medical teams who support them.  They are the real heroes!

With every hospital visit, appearance at a charity event, or through their own efforts to raise awareness of childhood cancer, Ruben and Liz hope to bring even just a moment of joy to anyone in need.  Founder Ruben Loya (Spiderman) regularly visits with patients at Naval Medical Center San Diego and Rady Children's Hospital San Diego.  He also works with charities such as Miracle Babies, Rock Cancer CARE, and Great Community.

We are so excited to offer our services for private events!  Our favorite part is watching a child's face light up when Spiderman shows up as a guest to their party.  And Spiderman sure knows how to party! He plays games, shares stories of his superhero adventures, teaches guests to pose like him, poses for pictures, and more.  As an added service, he'll even show up with a special balloon bouquet and gift!
